INGREDIENTS :
1 kilogram of chicken wings
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup orange juice
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
5 halved garlic cloves
3 chopped sprigs green onion
2 inch piece fresh ginger
Salt and Pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS :
Preheat the oven to 210 C degrees.
Set chicken wings over a baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Bake for about 15 minutes then remove from oven.
Turn each chicken piece over, take back to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes or until golden brown.
To make the teriyaki sauce add all sauce ingredients : soy sauce, orange juice, hoisin sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, green onion, and the ginger to a large saucepan and simmer over low heat for about 12 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Take chicken wings out from the oven, cast the sauce over chicken wings.
Take the wings back to the oven for another 20 minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy.
