INSTRUCTIONS :
- Wash your bird, pat dry and season the entire chicken with paprika, garlic salt, garlic pepper and red pepper flakes.
- In a bowl, combine 1 stick of butter, 14 oz bottle of hot sauce, 3 splashes of Worcestershire sauce and a heaping tablespoon of brown sugar. Nuke the mixture in the microwave for about one minute, stir and base the chicken with half the mixture.
-Stuff the cavity with a whole onion and put in Dutch oven pot (or a pan and cover with foil.)
-Bake on 375 degrees for 2 hours covered.
-Then, uncover, base the chicken with other half of the mixture and bake on 325 degrees for another hour basting periodically with the pan drippings! Hot, flavorful and moist!
-Serve with a salad or celery stalks with ranch dressing. When you slice, spoon some pan dripping over your meat! As always, my recipes are a guide. Be creative...make it your own
